Have you ever thought of a birthday party with balloons? No, right? Well, did you know there’s more to balloons than just decoration? Here is a list of unique balloon games for kids that are super fun and inexpensive to play. 

1. Balloon Waddle Races

   These are simple-to-play races. Just keep a balloon between the knees and let the race begin. The first one to reach the finish line without dropping or bursting it wins. It one of the most enjoyable balloon games for kids.

   

2. Balloon Power

   This a fun game of science. You just need to have a balloon and some empty paper glasses. Ask your kid to blow up the balloon and then release its air on the glass to flip it down the table. With more kids, you can even hold a competition among them. Blow it to win it!

   

3. Balloon Painting – most creative balloon games for kids

   This is one of the most creative balloon games for kids. Get your kids some paints, a bunch of paper, and few balloons. Ask them to blow the balloons or do that for them. Now, show them how to dip the balloons in paints and print those on paper. Let them make different shapes and figures and watch them make the best of their time!

   

4. Name Pop

   It is an interesting balloon pop game and needs to be played by many kids. Ask all the kids to write their names on the balloons and then, throw the balloons onto the floor and mix them up. Set a timer and let them stomp and pop the balloons. The kids whose name remain unpopped gets to play another round. 

   

5. Color Pop – enjoyable balloon games for kids

   It is similar to name pops but is played among teams. It is one of the most suitable balloon games for team building. Divide the kids into two teams and give different colors to both. Scatter equal balloons of those colors and set a timer. Now, on the “go” ask them to search the balloons of respective colors and start bursting by sitting on them. The team with maximum pops at the end wins!

   

6. Balloon Darts

   Make few holes in cardboard, blow the balloons and tie them through the holes. Mount the board and let the kids throw darts at the balloons to pop them. For more fun, you can even hold a competition among them by awarding points on each pop!

   

7. Balloon Tennis

   This is one of the easiest, yet enjoyable balloon games for kids. Blow balloons and ask the children to keep them from touching the ground using paper plates. It is a simple game of catch and throws with a balloon instead of a ball. 

   

8. Balloon Blow – easy balloon games for kids

   Just set up a course using tapes and ask your kid to blow the balloon all the way to the finish line. You can make it even more interesting using a straw to roll the balloon instead of directly blowing the air.  With more kids, you can always make them compete and have fun for hours!

   

9. Backhand Balloon Challenge

   Just like balloon blow, set up a course and challenge your kids to balance the balloon on the back of their hand and run towards the finish line. The only rule is that the balloon shouldn’t fall. The first child that crosses the finish line wins! 

   

10. Balloon Hockey

    Balloon hockey is one of the most enjoyable balloon games for kids. You can make them play with either a hockey stick or a simple cardboard piece and a balloon. Just like a game of hockey, even this can game of balloons can go on for hours.
